Upload an MP3, WAV or similar, record from your microphone, or overdub on top of the current sound while it loops. Record makes a new, separate sound; Overdub adds to the current one in time with the loop. If overdubs land late, drag Overdub timing left (early: right); your last overdub moves with it so you can line it up by ear. Headphones give the cleanest overdubs; with speakers you can turn on echo cancelling, which can add some clicks.
Sets the fade in and fade out to the same length. Mode 1 lets you shape each side separately.
Remove samples from the end to fine-tune the loop point. Adjust while listening to eliminate clicks.
Pitch changes the key, not the tempo. Stretch changes the tempo, not the key. Speed changes both, like a record. Double-click a slider to reset it.
Auto level brings quiet sounds up and keeps peaks from clipping. Turn it off to hear the sound exactly as recorded.
Play together on up to 5 devices (the host picks how many). Anyone can play or pause the sound on anyone's device. Sounds go browser to browser; the server only introduces you.
